Meditation,
Healing & Therapy Gardens
We
are often asked, "What exactly is a meditation,
healing, or therapy garden? Can't any garden be considered healing
or therapeutic?
Yes,
all gardens can be therapeutic but what makes these gardens different
is that we specifically design them to fit the needs of the people
using them.
Often
this means just a beautiful place to sit, re-connect, relax, and
let the stresses of life melt away. In many cases
there is a special purpose or use for the garden. A space created
where
people can work with plants or simply observe nature up close, so
they may feel empowered emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Getting
hands in warm soil, touching a soft leaf, watching something grow,
or
smelling
something that stirs fond memories can be healing, therapeutic,
or just plain rejuvenating.
It
is a simple and inspiring concept . . . to enhance the quality
of life by blending people with nature.

"Nature's
peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The
winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their
energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves." -
